Lauren's Fiddle
I started playing the violin at age 8 and played throughout the years of my public schooling. Most of the repertoire during that time was classical music and I was surrounded by both fine and mediocre players. I greatly enjoy both playing and writing folk music on my fiddle.
The above video, "Venus of Bullmastiffs" is my own composition.
This next video, "Grand Valley Waltz" is a 'traditional' Canadian tune. I'd like to re-record it eventually, hopefully with better intonation -- but for now, it will do!
I hope to add more of my original songs soon, as well as other tunes I've learned and enjoyed over the years.
